The Dharma of Hand-washing

Washing your hands is not about you — and neither is meditation. In this class, participants will learn how to use the technique of one-pointed concentration to calm and center their minds, and how that practice opens the door to compassion. Both relaxing and healing, this meditation can be practiced by anyone, regardless of religious tradition.

A Place of Ceaseless Prayer

For more than 35 years, the KPC community has maintained an unbroken stream of prayer. The prayer vigil is the heartbeat of KPC, creating a constant spiritual refuge.  This video is an example of the commitment and participation of the members to maintain this virtuous practice of praying for all suffering to end.

The Stupa Park at KPC

An incredible video featuring the Stupa park at KPC and the Buddhist Temple Kunzang Palyul Choling. The centerpiece is the 18 foot Stupa dedicated to Jetsunma’s long life. It is surrounded by the 8 Auspicious Stupas.

Thank You for Visiting Our Virtual Prayer Room

Since 1985, KPC’s Prayer Room in Poolesville Maryland has provided a place for near-constant prayer, meditation, and Buddhist practice for Sangha and visitors alike. The Prayer Room houses small stupas with sacred relics, consecrated statues, and a large collection of crystals– all of which are empowered to support focus and peace of mind. While watching the video, imagine that you are there and enjoy your stay.
